Kelly Clarkson has been a singer and songwriter in America for more than 20 years. She won American Idol during the first season. Not only was she pushed into the spotlight by her victory and announcing the contract for several albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records. In the years since her debut, she released numerous albums. Of those albums three were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The other albums came near the top. She's among the most popular performers to emerge of American Idol. When she was successful, she experimented with different themes and music styles often singing with her partner in line with her personal feelings. She earned critical acclaim and a number of important awards for her creativity and vocal talent. She was awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. Alongside her music career, she also has worked in film and TV. She also co-wrote the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated with a number of charities.
