Kari Sam Wuhrer born on April 28, 1968, is an American Actress and Singer. Her career began when she was a teenager and is best recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders as well as her role as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, who was a police officer as well as a automobile salesman.
