Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress and former model predominantly active with the Indian film industry. She is also the winner at the 2007 Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant. Her family is multiracial, of Canadian, Sri Lankan, and Malaysian descendance, Fernandez spent the early portion of her life in Bahrain. Following her mass communications degree at the University of Sydney, she was employed for a time in Sri Lanka as a television reporter for many years before beginning to enter the world of modeling. In 2006 she represented her country as Miss Universe and became one the most popular models in Sri Lanka. In 2009, during her professional tour to India, she landed the role as Jasmine in Sujoy Ghosh's film 'Aladin'. In 2011 she was scouted for the role of Priya in the role of the female lead for "Murder 2". Fernandez's career flourished after it became a critical and commercial hit. Since then, she's been in movies such as Housefull 2 or 3, Race 2, Definition of Fear and Judwaa 2 She serves as an ambassador for many companies and has earned numerous prizes.
